Skin Tags Removal Remedies that can be easily done at Home
Even though we know that skin tags are actually harmless, there still exists different reasons why people would want to get rid of them. It could be because we don’t want other people to see it. It could also be because it is located in an awkward position.
The fact is that at one point or the other people would want to get rid of their skin tags. Many people feel that it is far easier and convenient to do this by themselves rather than involving a doctor or a dermatologist to handle the process of removing that skin tag.

You would have to buy some thread or dental floss. You then use it to wrap the skin tag very tightly around the base and then tie it off completely. This knot would stop blood from entering the skin tag. All that you have to now do is to wait for the supply of blood to stop which would cause the skin tag to die off and then fall off. You need to wait for a few hours or days for this to happen.
2. Freeze off the Skin Tag — when you visit dermatologists or doctors, they are going to use this method to get rid of your skin tags. As you can imagine, it is expensive to undertake this medical procedure. The alternative is to visit your nearby drug store, grocery, or chemist for any of the many products that can do the same thing. Just bear in mind that while doctors would get rid of your skin tags using this method in a matter of minutes, the skin tag removal medicines and kits that you would find in the stores that would do the same thing would take much longer time.
3. Cut Off the Skin Tag — this is actually the easiest of all the home remedy methods for getting rid of a skin tag. However, because of the risks involved with using it, one needs to be careful. By making sure that you make use of new equipment and ensuring that they are sterilized you would be able to minimize all risks that come with using this method. The equipment that you can use to cut off skin tags at home include nail clippers, nail scissors, or razor blades. Some people prefer to use nail clippers to cut these troublesome skin tags off. Other find nail scissors to be more effective. Three key points to remember with using any of these equipment to remove skin tags at home are: clean-cutting the skin tags, disinfection, and sterilization. You have to ensure that you snip off the skin tags as close to where the base of the stalk is on your body as possible. Also, you need to guard against infection of the wound by cleaning the wound properly and then covering it up. Finally, after you remove them from their packaging you should remember to sterilize the clippers or scissors.
4. Applying Revitol Skin Tag Remover — this is a product with a high degree of success in getting rid of skin tags. While all the other methods listed above would require some form of slight pain and discomfort, using Revitol would spare you of all these inconveniences.
